This was tragic and so unexpected. It upsets me to hear news of death. I am saddened to hear about this. Why is everyone passing away so suddenly? =[
I JUST saw that on Twitter, then confirmed on CNN. So sad. He's a legend.

Hey Caryn- Agreed. He def defined my generation!
Today my dad just showed me a clip from the movie "Ferris Bueller's Day Off". I have to say it was hilarious. It was the scene with the parade and Ferris is singing The Beatles "Twist and Shout!" He said that he showed it to me because the director passed away. There are a lot of people getting injures, attacked, and dieing. A very sad time.
Hey Kajikitsune- if you get a chance- watch the entire movie. It's completely delightful and poignant too-John Hughes was a genius!
If you do watch it, know that I will envy your being able to see it for the very first time!
